Your Team, Our Mission

SportsFest is a sporting outreach event proudly run by Baptist Churches Western Australia — with over 35 sports and activities, and more than 30 participating churches. This event falls over the long weekend in September each year, and creates an amazing opportunity for youth and young adults, from all over WA, to come together.

We encourage churches to invite youth and young adults from within their church, and we love it when they bring along people from their wider community too! It’s the perfect time to meet others, try new sports, create lasting memories, and hear about Jesus.

more than just sport

We love our sport, but a huge part of our SportsFest ministry is inside the teams from the participant churches. Participants have the opportunity to invite their friends along to participate in a weekend of fun and connection. Churches will be given the time and space to run their own ministry time. This could be a service or small group discussion time but churches will be free to do this in their own style covering their own themes.
